| In the meantime... here's some data on April and May 2009. April 9th – May 9th Full Moon 19 Libra 53 While the Sun is still in Aries through April 19th there is a lot of fiery energy to initiate change. In general, people are inspired to shine their light. The Full Moon April 9th just before Easter gives you the Power of Renunciation – to renounce a limitation in your personality and try to overcome it. This may be a habit, glamour or illusion. You have the will active within you now to intelligently deal with it and cast it away. This will be easy to do at Easter time because the energies are present and once you try, the energies will help. Renunciation is the giving up of something now for something better in the future. It is necessary as it is an act of purification and paves the way for the Power of Resurrection to act within you. Easter is a period when you are inspired to resurrect yourself and your life from the tomb of your personal limitations and hindrances in order to shine out as the Soul of Divine Light which you are! The Eastern Mystics tell us that the Constellations are charged with cosmic electricity and their fields of force extend for many millions of miles. The mystics teach that when these constellations are observed from a far off point in space, one can see an opening and unfolding lotus of great beauty. Our Sun with its family of planets, our solar system, travels in space and every thirty days enters into the electromagnetic field of one these constellations. The Full Moon period is the moment when our Sun synchronizes with the energy flow of the constellation through which it is moving and transmits that energy to the planets and to our Earth. Actually, there is synchronization between Humanity and Divinity at each Full Moon period. The full moon period begins 3 days before to 3 days afterward. The day of the Full Moon is called the Day of Contact with the Spiritual Hierarchy and it lasts for 12 hours before to 12 hours after the Full Moon. This is why teachers always recommend meditation during Full Moons. This Full Moon is the first of three sacred Full Moons which occur every year with the next two occurring in May and June respectively. This one is dedicated to Christ and His Resurrection. The energy of Aries is fiery. It charges and stimulates the Spark in every form and causes them to advance and progress. It is the energy of evolution and taking things to the next level collectively and individually. Resurrection is striving and labor. Striving is the effort of the Spirit to conquer matter, to conquer the body, the emotions, and to conquer space and time. When labor combines with striving, resurrection can occur. So this is the time of the overcoming and destruction of our limitations and negative habits, emotions, mind sets, circumstances, etc. This applies to the individual as well as to the collective whole. Ask yourself, what do you need to let go of in order to make your life better? This letting go makes space for the new to enter in . Aries is the place where the initial idea to institute activity takes form. It is the birth place of the new ideas and in truth an idea is a spiritual impulse taking form. If you have gone within during the first two weeks of April, then April 13 – 18 is your time of receiving the new seed idea(s) from spirit so that you can move forward during the coming year. You move to the next level in some area of your life. Look to your Aries house in your chart. April 6 – 13 Full Moon Meditation/Full Moon occurs April 9th at 10:56 am Imagine upon an altar a flaming chalice. You are dressed in white and in your right hand you are holding a golden chalice. You fill your chalice with the liquid fire from the flaming chalice on the altar and in your imagination go to those places and people needing light, spirit, purification, peace and harmony. See yourself in a city or on a mountain and hold your chalice high. See beams of fiery light radiating out of your chalice and penetrating into the city, country, nation or race. Then visualize the earth and pour out light from your chalice to cover the earth, to purify and resurrect her, all her resources and all evolving life. Affirm the Self: More radiant than the sun, Purer than the snow, Subtler than the ether- Is the self, The spirit within my heart; I am that Self That SELF am I. Now see a blanket of spiritual light and fire form around the planet and penetrate into each living form. (Note: This meditation is based on the law which says "Energy follows Thought." With this meditation a thought form of the energy of Aries spreads over the planet and this can be used by higher forces as a ready vehicle to distribute the energy of Aries. We can certainly use this energy now to bring in the new way of doing and thinking on this planet.) Since this Full Moon forms an in conjunct to Mars, some of you may find yourself in rather stressful circumstances. The best way to handle the energies during the coming two weeks is to seek peace, be willing to compromise, listen to the ideas and feelings of others. Before the Full Moon you have been focusing on your needs but now it is necessary to balance your needs with the needs of others around you. This is a theme you will find echoing throughout the year due to Saturn in Virgo applying to the opposition of Uranus in Pisces. Freedom in general, getting our freedom is somewhat hampered in some area of your life. This indicates that wherever Uranus rules and is located in your natal chart, you may be experiencing a certain amount of delay, frustration, blocks or limitation. For example, if Uranus rules your third house, you may have a block or difficulty regarding teaching or attending a class, a relative may be having a more difficult time or you need a new car but financially it is not the right time, etc. April 24th through May 30th, Venus and Mars will be within 10 degrees of each other. This could indicate that important agreements involving close relationships, personal and business, can be made. Difficult negotiations may now be worked through. Agreements and decisions will be made that affect the financial crises in a positive way. However, Pluto is the sign of bankruptcy and I feel we will see more foreclosures and small bank failures. Wait until May to make any large purchases requiring financing. Our relationships as a nation with other countries and the world economy are poised to take an evolutionary step forward right now. Look for new arrangements in the middle east so far as our involvement there especially in Iraq, Iran, and Afghanistan. Also during late April, Venus and Mars in Aries squares Pluto in Capricorn. I look at this as a timing factor for what is happening. Keep in mind there are many obstacles to overcome to get to the next level and solve the problems in our own lives but also in the world. Pluto in Capricorn for the next 11 years is in its beginning phase which is a break down phase in the world governments and world economy. The break down requires brave and courageous ideas to be set into motion. The underlying energy of Pluto in Capricorn is that the right to entitlement is challenged and no longer accepted. We are looking within and building a new thought structure of why we look up to and respect others. Money and power no longer are a reason for trust and respect. We are learning to dig deeper and to incorporate a better value system. Government officials must think in terms of the environment and the masses from a world perspective. April 24 – May 24 New Moon 5 Taurus 04 The ruler of this New Moon is Venus which moves into Aries the day of this lunation giving people a new sense of hope as banks loosen their lines of credit and with the Favorable aspect of the New Moon to Pluto the world economy begins to improve!!! The key phrase for Taurus is I have. The question then becomes what do you need and what do you want. The idea of being more economical and enjoying the simple things of life. Our values are becoming more aligned with what is really important to us. I will say that with this New Moon you need to watch your spending as Venus in Aries is impulsive spending.
